Mary and Jimi...British flowers in early April
After a long cold damp winter it was a joy to see the narcissus finally making a show of colour in April....and just in time for Mary & Jimi's wedding in Leeds.
'Ice Folly', 'Grand Soliel D'or & 'Tete a Tete' narcissus, forsythia, plum blossom and pieris flower all from the plot plus a few British tulips were selected for the bridal and venue flowers.
A small but full of the joys of Spring bouquet for Mary with her beautiful Rolling in Roses lace dress. I also spy blue ombre polish, maybe for that something blue?
Jimi's buttonhole had the addition of home grown blue Muscari for a touch of blue.
And such wonderful words from a fabulous couple.
'Thank you so much for all of the bouquets, larger displays, corsages and button holes. They received so many compliments. They looked lovely, so bright and spring like and smelled simply wonderful! I also loved the fact that they were grown so locally! Thank you for making it so easy to arrange - it was lovely to deal with you'. Jimi & Mary
